I tried to keep my on-line footprint small, deliberately so. I only got a mobile ‘phone because my Land Rover was unreliable. I don’t do Facebook; I was only recently cajoled into LinkedIn, and then strong-armed into Twitter. But, however hard I try, my hubris won’t allow 280 characters to do justice to my thoughts, and I refuse to live in a world in which human interaction is reduced to binary opposition.
